Long gone are his days of terror, back when the House would be distorted, the Sadnesses rampant, and the country of Vaugarde stuck in time. Now, the only one frozen is him, nothing more but a statue, left right in its spot as a reminder of what happened.
Yet, no one remembers why his expression is so soft, even hidden away behind his curtain of hair. No one remembers why his mouth is slightly open, as if words were ready to tumble from it.

You don't remember how or why, but that detail sticks out in your mind. You have to get down to the bottom of this, for you, for your House, for Dormont.
(this fic was made during a game of Red Tag! The person requested some sort of Supernatural AU (think vampires, werewolves, fairies etc), so this takes place in a Dungeons and Dragons AU! i play fast and loose with the rules of the world though.
