Summary
Every mammal on the planet participates in the world's largest and most sophisticated game of chess. There are allies and opponents; some mammals aim to improve themselves to near exclusivity, while others attempt to improve themselves while influencing others around them. It's a game where anybody may be the king or queen, but they can also be used as pawns by others if they make the wrong judgment calls. Nick and Judy are just getting started in their relationship and have returned from their Christmas break to continue navigating Zootopia City's tumultuous political and social landscape. Existing criminal operations are being shattered across the city by a steady stream of foreign intervention and sabotage. Worse, despite the efforts of the Greater Zootopia Territory's law enforcement agencies, the influx of enslaved mammals is expanding. Individuals from the group continue to elude detection at all levels of state intelligence collection, shocking local criminal leaders and civilian officials alike. The pieces of that one-of-a-kind chess match continue to move, or be moved, around the board in a rather anarchic fashion and the city's most iconic duo must match their pieces' movements carefully to avoid being separated.

Summary
Nick's blueberry plan is thwarted by safety procedures implemented within Dawn Bellwether's organization and it nearly costs the duo dearly. The experience of succumbing to the Nighthowler serum changes the red fox's psychology to a degree in the aftermath. Nearly two-years later, the continued trouble with the post-traumatic stress leads him further into the darkened den and forces an adaptation after graduating from the Police Academy. Unfortunately for Judy, not even the work can keep the mental wolves at bay forever.
(Edit 01/26: this entire series is written on a pre-Zootopia+ timeline and will have little to no relation to Zootopia 2 now that the sequel is out.)

Summary
Naofumi Iwatani was summoned to the world of Grolai three-hundred years ago by the god Adabrom. He was set to take the mantle of the Demon King and lead demon kind against the humans and their summoned hero. After seven years of non-stop warfare causing the deaths of millions both the hero and the demon king learned that Adabrom had summoned them both for his own enjoyment. With this realization the humans and demons formed an alliance and sought an end to this evil god. With the aid of dragons and the unlocking of ancient cardinal weapons the hero and the demon king, Naofumi Iwatani killed Adabrom and stole his divine essence. Both the hero, a woman with bright blonde hair and amber eyes and Naofumi both gained divinity and after a few years fell in love and laid claim to their world, establishing a world spanning empire. For three-hundred years they lived in peace, until she came... A god vastly more powerful than both the hero and the former demon king, Naofumi Iwatani.
With Naofumi's defeat he has his memories of this world erased and is sent to the world of Earth 4, Japan where he will find an old and falling apart book with the title of The Record of the Four Cardinal Weapons.

His fist pounded on the door before he could think of an excuse of why. There was silence, shuffling, and then a breathless Judy. Her ears askew and her tank top strap had fallen off. Her shoulder has never looked so delectable.
“Nick! D-Did you need something?” She readjusted her clothing.
He didn’t know what to say or where to start. He just stared to the point that he was creeping himself out. Speak, Wilde. You’re better than this.
“Do 𝐲𝐨𝐮 need something?” He asked right back.
Her violet eyes widened. “What?”
__________________________________________________________________________________________________When Judy sprains her ankle on the job, she struggles having an outlet for her heat. Nick struggles being without his partner and wants to help out in any way that he can.

Forced by circumstance to remain covert, they must gain allies and work without official sanction to overcome those who use guile, prejudice, induced fears, and revenge as tools to gain power.
This story sets background for the first few chapters, but complications are coming!
