Leo leaps onto Purple’s back, wrestling the tranquilizer out of his hands, “Okay we’re getting a little too trigger happy-”
“You never let me shine-!”
“Whaddya want? We ain’t giving you the goo! And we sure ain’t going back to Big Mama!” Raph growls.
“Yeah!” Orange agrees vehemently.
“Okay, okay, I’m not here for that, just- just hear me out,” I say carefully. All four squint at me suspiciously. Still holding my other hand up, I slowly reach for my mask with the other, then I remove it.

After the death of Zane, the team of friends split up, and the love square that had formed has not yet been resolved. Rose chose to stay with her adoptive family, having nothing else but God to cling to now. Rose fears she might never see Cole again, or any of the boys for that matter, and is certain that Zane is lost forever. Nya also chose to stay with them, remaining Samurai X, and even though the two have reconciled, there’s still tension there. Will the team be able to push past all these obstacles and come together stronger than ever?

Summary
After getting stranded by the malfunctioning portal gate, Sora, Frak, Riyu, and Wyldfyre find themselves on a long and tiring journey to reunite with the rest of the ninja.
This newest threat won't be resolved in a single day, however, and the exhausted teens need to spend the night at a dingy motel to rest and recover their strength.
No one has any crises at all, whatsoever. There is certainly nothing going on between any of the ninja trainees, and Sora would like to drop the subject, now.

Summary
Kai had always been an angry crier. The injustice of it all made him weak with rage every now and again. Why had something so bad happened to someone so good? Lloyd did nothing but sacrifice. Why couldn’t he catch a break? Why was Kai awake at midnight, holding a little brother who shook through nightmares every day, whether he was asleep or not?
Kai was exhausted. Emotionally and physically. He had two cracked ribs right now. He and the others had been trading off sitting with Lloyd. Everyone was tired. Lloyd was so far beyond tired.
“Hey,” Kai broke the silence softly. They’d been sitting on the couch without moving for at least half an hour. He was falling asleep despite himself and he refused to rest if Lloyd couldn’t manage it. “How’s it going?”
