Summary
The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

Grian is a vet. After a chance encounter in the dead of night, during which he accidentally saves a villain from the brink of death, he suddenly finds himself entangled in a world beyond anything he could've ever imagined.

Summary
Grian wasn’t sure when his ears had started ringing – it felt like they had been at it for a while now, but with no other sounds besides his breathing it was really hard to tell.
The knocking at the door certainly wasn't helping either.
Wait- knocking on the door?
Grian got up – quickly exiting his room, and walking up to the door to take a look through the peep-hole.
Scar was there – Scar was there, and holding a translucent box of fresh-baked cookies.
OR
Grian fucks up his wings, and practically melts when it gets preened for the first time in weeks.

Summary
“Grian…?” Scar’s raspy morning-timbre rumbles, chest vibrating underneath him. Grian curses himself, holding on firmer as the lightest feeling of embarrassment rises.
With a hum, he responds. “Sorry to wake you,” he apologizes, voice barely louder than a whisper. He won’t cry, he’s far from that, but he’s still ashamed.
“A dream?” Scar asks, just as familiar with this routine as Grian. He shakes his head against Scar instead of verbally responding, knowing that his words would likely come out broken and shaky. “So a glimpse,” he inquires further, and Grian nods.
OR: Grian goes for a flight. It doesn't end up going as peacefully as he would have hoped.

Summary
Fear started to ripple within Scar, his body beginning to tremble slightly. “Then, can I leave? I don’t want to get killed."
Grian shook his head. “No, because if you leave, then The Watcher will wonder where you are, and if I tell him you were a Hybrid he’ll ask for Xelqua to kill you. Painfully. So staying and wearing this—” he produced another cloak that was the same as what he was wearing, “—and cover your ears, then I’d suspect you’ll be alright.”
Scar nodded as he pulled the cloak over his head.
”It’s a good thing The Watcher requested for you to wear this. As funny as it would be, he doesn’t want you to stand out like a sore thumb.”
”I must thank him for his graciousness,” Scar said with a scoff.
OR
As a monk in a monastery, Grian has to take care of an irritating prince as he learns his way around the place, only to realise that he has been learning some things too.
