“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).

“But, wait-“ Jimmy took his thumb and forefinger to an easy feather to reach, and placed one of the keratin shells in between his fingers. Then, making sure Tango was looking, he rubbed this shell in between his fingers to loosen it, and slid it off, revealing a new feather.
Jimmy smiled warmly. “This is how you do it, ok? Just before we start.”
The blazeborn nodded. “Got it.”
He focused his attention to the top of the open wings, and took a proper look at the wings. The bright yellow, developing feathers stared back at him like the blazeborn owed them something, enclosed in their keratin sheath.
Tango slowly brought his fingers to the sheath, and like Jimmy had done, took it in between his thumb and forefinger to loosen it.
It made a satisfying crunching sound, and the new feather gleamed as Tango removed the coat.OR

Scott raises an eyebrow, “What kind of play?”
“You know how you know our true names and stuff?” Tango asks, “What if you used your fae magic on me tonight?”
“That does sound enjoyable.” Scott says, “We’ll have to go over it with Jimmy, unless you want to just be us tonight, if he’s not up to it.”
“I already ran it by him.” Tango says, his tail flicking behind him as he buries his face into Scott’s shoulder, “He said he wants to try it.”
“Hmm.” Scott hums, “We can try, but you're sure you want to do that?”
“Completely.” Tango says, pressing a kiss to Scott’s neck.
