Summary
Tim closes his eyes, calculating. Based on the energy involved for a one week reset, he’s looking at a minimum displacement of about five years for the copy. His eyes sting as he fully grasps that if this works, one Tim will get to reunite with his friends and family, hold them and speak to them again, and work together to unleash all the contingencies and strategies he’s come up with to kick those invading alien assholes the fuck out, and the other Tim, the copy… won’t. He’ll wake up somewhen, isolated and traumatized, without friends, family, or any allies at all.
Well, shit. Whatever, at least Other Tim will know it worked. And he’s never minded the idea of sacrificing himself to save others. He confirms the calibration of the device, and pushes the big red button. Of fucking course there’s a big red button, supervillains are so predictable.
His last thought as the lights explode in his head and he tastes color is I hope computers are a thing whenever Other Tim lands. I’d hate to be put on trial for witchcraft. Fuck it, if I overshoot I’m gonna ride a goddamn dinosaur. Hell. Yes.

Summary
Hood stares in dumbfounded shock as Tim Drake, his replacement and sometime enemy, snickers and reaches out one uncoordinated hand to poke at his white streak. Two things happen in that moment. He spots the scar on Tim’s throat, the one he put there way back when he was at his most fucked up—or rather, he spots the smooth, pale, unmarred skin where it should have been.
He also hears Red Robin in his ear, calmly checking in with the Bats over the comms Red Hood secretly listens in on.
“Well, fuck,” he says, looking with new eyes at the grinning, way too trusting teen—and he’s definitely a teen, at least a few years younger than the guy he knows. “Guess you’re not from around here, after all.”

Summary
“Uhm, can I help you?”
“My friend, there’s just one thing that can help me,” Poor Insomniac Bastard says, quite dramatically, as he reaches into his backpack and produces a can of Red Bull.
He’s not going to do what I’m thinking he might, Bruce thinks, and then he watches in pure horror as he sees him pour the entirety of the can into the coffee cup.
“Too bad then,” he keeps on, “I’m going to die. Cheers, man, it’s been good to know you.”
Then he winks at Bruce and downs the entire damned thing.
Or: in which Bruce goes to MIT and makes a friend.
