    Here’s the thing: Todoroki Shouto is a fucking menace. Not because of his quirk, even though that’s powerful as all hell, which is really fucking annoying and also fucking impressive and pretty fucking hot and also fucking annoying, but because of his other superpower which is his tragic fucking awful stupid face.

    Todoroki is good at asking for what he wants, and Bakugou is good at refusing. Unfortunately, Bakugou is not so good at maintaining that refusal in the face of superior firepower.

They were moving against him! He forces air into Shoto's lungs, watches his chest rise, and prays harder than he's ever prayed in his life.

    "Two minutes out," Kirishima confirms, his phone still pressed to his ear. "They said keep doing CPR, don't stop—"

    It’s so annoying having to watch Icyhot writing all the time. Especially since Bakugou now knows that he’s writing his stupid damn love letter to whichever disgusting loser he likes.

    It’s also incredibly rude to do this love letter writing during times when Bakugou was decent enough to invite him to study with him alone in his room. He doesn’t just invite anyone up here. Icyhot should be so damn lucky. And he’s writing love letters on their time. What a stupid bastard.

    5 times Bakugou doesn’t realize that he is the object of Todoroki’s affections, and 1 time he does

    Bakugou is whole body tense, like he was the day he came in with Jeanist having done his hair. Like his own skin doesn’t belong to him, and he’s drowning under the surface. There are openings in conversation where Shouto fully expects Bakugou to slam his fist down and curse, there are people who jostle him on the train and he fully expects Bakugou to let them have it. But nothing happens and the silence is deafening.

    The world, pretty much, harasses Bakugou for being the way that he is, but this new Bakugou, the 'nicer' one, is not the feral gremlin Shouto fell in love with

    What he really wants, of course, is to sit in Bakugou’s lap. Just for a moment. Held steady. And wanted there. In his mind he imagines being rocked from side to side and he feels guilty for even taking the fantasy that far. When it isn’t his to have, not really.

    Then Bakugou leans forward and he’s in Shouto’s space and he’s hugging him. Shouto didn’t realize he’d been so tense before it happened but the tension dissipates the moment Bakugou’s arms are around him.

    “Thank you.”

    “Shut. Up.”

    or: 5 times Shouto wants to sit on Bakugou’s lap (+1) time he gets to do it.
