Summary
‘Mike, i don’t ever want to feel like i’m losing you again’ Will sounded unsure in himself, and Mike felt that uncertainty run straight to his heart, tugging lightly.
‘That’s never going to happen again, i don’t want it to. I feel like i was lost without you when you went to California, like i was just kicking up stones without you. I just- i- didn’t know how to say it then. But i wrote about it, about you’
‘You did?’
‘For hours’
This confession tasted sweet, like he was glad to share it, previous confessions had felt like they still carried bitterness, but Mike wanted to move away from that, away from the bitterness he felt without Will.
‘I whispered your name, while i was away’
‘i heard’
OR: season five alternate ending, rewrite of the scene on the radio tower behind the squawk. Mike confesses everything he’s been stirring up inside, and finally tells Will about the letters. (#lettergate) Will doesn’t catch on right away, so Mike starts blurting to stop him from climbing the ladder.

Summary
"It's not that bad.” He reassured. “Here, I'll start: I love ceramics, I'm married to someone in this school, and I painted the mural in the cafeteria.
"That's easy!" A kid scoffed from the front, leaning forward. "It's the second one!"
Behind him, the TA's shoulder shook with silent laughter. A grin spread across Will's face. "I hate ceramics."
Or
Will always plays two truths and a lie on the first day of school. It’s just tradition. It’s also tradition to have them guess who he’s married to by the end of the week for extra credit.
