Summary
Izuku Midoriya used to want to be a hero. It seems a distant dream, now, after everything that he's done—after everything that he's been made to do. But it's still there. It's a dim, flickering flame, burning lower by the day.
He doesn't have time to concern himself with that though, these days he's too focused on staying alive to think too much about what he can never have.
Then All Might takes a job teaching at UA, and the universe says hey you know what would be fun? What if we fucked Izuku over even more than we already have? and thus, Izuku ends up in the General Education class of UA with strict instructions to report everything he can, because, thank fucking no one, he just can't catch a goddamn break.
AKA Hisashi Midoriya is a member of one of the most notorious underground supervillain organizations, and Izuku is being forced to help them (even though, trust him, he'd really rather not). Too bad that they don't predict that Izuku's going to get adopted by half the faculty when they send him to spy on the prestigious hero academy.

I got into this fic knowing that it was incomplete, but that doesn't mean its unfinished status hurts any less.
This is one of the best stories, not just fics, I've ever read. The characterization, the dialogue, the villains, the way this story's plotline is so seamlessly tied into the canon storyline. The way that this story can stand alone as its own king of fiction. So. Good.
My despair worsened with each chapter I read, because every chapter that passed by, I realized how freaking amazing this story is and that I was getting closer to its untimely end. I havent read the last chapter bc of it. Author, I pray that for some reason, if you're okay, and I pray that you're okay, that you come back to this story despite your years of absence and continue brining joy to all your readers. And I hope joy for this fic finds you as well. This is the first MHA fic I've read, and you have created a nigh impossibly high bar. I'm gonna be thinking about this story for years to come and what could have been btw. Just so you know. My thoughts will be tortued by the abandoned soul of this fic. That's a compliment. I've got it downloaded as a literary piece lol. *cue long-winded pained sigh of utter despair*
