“Hey, I’m going to bed. Don’t stay up too late, okay?” He rested a hand on her shoulder to make sure she heard, and felt distantly proud that she didn’t even flinch at his approach like she’d used to.
“Okay. Night, mom.” She mumbled, not even glancing up at him as her fingers flew across the keyboard.
Leon paused. It (somehow) wasn’t the first time she’d called him that, the first time being whilst in the midst of a panic attack so severe that she’d fainted, but he hadn’t brought it up since and she didn’t seem to remember.
“… Night, kid.” He squeezed her shoulder before heading off, hearing the frantic typing pause for a second before he just about heard the whispered,
“Oh my god.” that followed.

Steve followed his gaze, eyebrows raising slightly as the sky darkened.
“I dunno, ask Dustin.” He nudged Eddie before unlocking the Beemer. “It’s either science or some kinda omen, is my bet.”
“Christ, don’t say that.” Eddie tore his gaze from the sky, trying to suppress the feeling of foreboding lingering under his skin. “If something happens now, it’s your fault for jinxing it.”

Aziraphale held up a white envelope that only had the words ‘Mr Aziraphale & Mr Crowley’ written on it in a neat 11-nearly-12-year-old’s handwriting. There was no address or stamp, but it had been dropped through the letterbox with the rest of the mail- that being the local paper.
“It’s an invitation,” Aziraphale spoke, handing the letter over. “To Adam’s twelve birthday party.”

Aziraphale and Crowley are invited to Adam's twelve birthday party, a few Ethereal beings appear to cause mayhem and Adam's parents are wonderful.
Also, everyone thinks that Crowley and Aziraphale are married. They may not be wrong, even if the two don't realise it.
