Summary
Vilori, daughter of Nori, has lived a difficult life. Her mother, who was an outcast for being half dwarf and half man, died in a fire when she was still a babe. The same fire that left Vilori’s right leg crippled and her lungs weak. She was then abandoned by her father and raised by her uncle as a cousin of the family. Now, her entire family is leaving her behind to go on a quest, and she’s moving in with her boss’s wife and son. As if all this wasn’t enough, the Crown Prince has developed feelings for her over the years. Vilori has been forcing herself to ignore the fact that not only does she know about his feelings, but she also returns them! After all, a half-breed, low-status dwarrowdam who’s sickly and crippled isn’t a proper match for the Crown Prince.

Summary
Thorin’s distrust of wizards did not stem from Gandalf’s meddling, although he’d been witness to it many times. When Thorin had been a young dwarrow, before the fall of Erebor, he’d been bewitched by a dark sorceress who’d wanted to gain power over the dwarven kingdom. Disguised as a dwarrowdam, the witch had controlled his mind, and eventually the two were wed. As her treachery was revealed, the sorceress cursed the kingdom.
However, even through darkness some light can be seen. While the two had been wed, the sorceress bore Thorin a child. Gandalf assured the family that the child did not carry any of her mother’s evil taint. But the joy could not last. Only 5 short years later, Smaug attacked Erebor and the child was believed lost. During the quest to reclaim Erebor, it is discovered that she had been Smaug’s captive for over 100 years, trapped in ageless sleep. The dragon had declared her Kulkodar Mimba, or Dragon Child.

Summary
Modern AU. Bilbo Baggins has just finished graduate school and is having the hardest time finding that first job. Add in the mounds of school and other debt that he’s swimming in, and you have one desperate man. Enter Nori, his good friend Ori’s older brother. Bilbo’s always found him a bit shady. He offers Bilbo a job as a male stripper for hire. At first Bilbo is too offended and flustered to even consider it, but Nori says he’s perfect for the job and the pay is great! Bilbo accepts. However, on his way to his first appointment, Bilbo begins to question this decision. What has he gotten himself into?!
This got away from me a bit. It was supposed to be more humor, but it got a little angsty.

Summary
So, this story is the result of a typo. I accidentally typed Biblo, instead of Bilbo. This brought me great amusement for a few minutes. I then decided it should be a fic.
Thorin has an allergic reaction to Elven food and Kíli rushes him home to Erebor. Bilbo is shocked at the state of his lover, but also amused as Thorin insistently tries to speak with him.

Now, throw in the Master of Bag End playing host for the dwarf prince: you’ll get a clash of cultures, an ill-advised bet about educating a certain hobbit in the dwarf-lore, and all the pride and prejudice business you could hope for, plus Khuzdul.

What he finds may not be Thorin for much longer.
Or: In which the dragon sickness is slowly transforming Thorin into a dragon, and Bilbo must save him before it is too late.
