Halfway through the movie Dream felt George lean more into James's side and saw James put his arm around George's waist again.
The two sharing popcorn really sold the look of a cheesy movie scene.
Dream leaned toward Sapnap, lowering his voice, “I don't like this guy.”
Sapnap didn't seem surprised in the slightest. “I can tell, maybe try to be at least a bit subtle about it.”
Or,
George gets a boyfriend and Dream is less than thrilled.

Summary
It’s not until George is finally drifting off to sleep, feeling sticky and used, that he really sees it. He sees the man he used to be, brazen and content. He misses that man dearly.
He wonders how he withered away into bruises on thighs and scarring on wrists. He wonders if he could still turn back or if it’s too late for him.
He wraps his arms tighter around himself, sobbing silently as his fingers dig into his rib cage. He doesn’t want to spend the rest of his life like this. But he doesn't want to die tonight, either.

Maybe it's time George let somebody love him.

Dream is in love with his best friend. Really, it isn't a problem and he's perfectly fine with staying friends (kind of) and can deal with George not feeling the same. It just hurts a little extra because George has a boyfriend, and he's everything Dream isn't.

When the teen steps into the building, it was like someone lowered the saturation in the world. Everything seemed to get darker, and the pressure in his chest was more evident than ever. It hurt. He can hear his heart thumping in his ears, filling his mind with bubbling anxiety, each beat feeling like a metaphorical countdown. Dream knew at that point that something seriously wasn't right.
