Summary
“Tell you what,” she announces, cutting Vox off before he can try and wheedle her again. “Let’s make a deal. No, not like that. A friendly wager, nothing more. You sit down, be quiet, and let me finish my work, and if you can behave until I’m done, I’ll be yours for the rest of the evening.”
This is a tantalizing offer for Vox, since he’s been trying to trap her into listening to something called ‘vaporwave’ for a few years to no avail. She can see his pupils dilating from across the room at the prospect.
“But if you can’t behave,” she continues, “then you’re mine for the evening, and I can’t promise I’ll be nice.”
Or: Rosie's had just about enough of Vox inserting himself into her business and expecting her to drop everything for him. Tonight, they're doing things her way.

Summary
“What, hit a nerve?” Vox asked, unflinching in a way that unnerved her. No, he wore that same shark-like smile that had pissed her off during the gift basket fiasco.
“One more word, and I’ll fucking kill you.” She gritted out between her teeth, the words filled with venom.
“Then kill me already,” He goaded, left eye wide as he maintained eye contact with her despite the sword breathing against his neck. Even with his limited power in heaven, electricity still seemed to course through his body. He leaned forward against the restraints, offering his neck closer to Lute. “Or did your little manchild master say ‘down girl’?

Summary
(written before hazbin s2; canon references are vague to nonexistent.)
After their stunning defeat, the Vees are on parole at the Hazbin Hotel, their souls owned by the royal family. As part of his begrudging reparations, Vox is working as the hotel's PR Manager, intending to stew in his resentment forever—but no one stays immune to Charlie Morningstar for long, and Vox is no exception.
Chronological, connected oneshots.

Summary
Vox's screen fills his field of vision, arresting his spiraling thoughts.
He's holding a needle and thread.
Alastor's smile is curdling at the edges, but he doesn't break eye contact. Vox's gaze devours him, always so wide and hungry, but there's something else lurking in his expression that has Alastor not quite as wary as he should be, perhaps, because it's not sadism or even cruelty in the way Vox is looking at him now. Vox's smile is calmer. He's quieter, no longer jumpy with excitement like he'd been earlier today, although still smug and a little too pleased with himself. Far more tolerable than before, at least.
"How about it?" Vox says, cocking an eyebrow. He holds the needle like an offering, like Alastor has a choice.
Alastor deliberately leans back, letting his head rest against the wall with the vain hope that it will make the room stop spinning. "By all means."
Or: Finally alone together, Alastor reopens some emotional wounds as Vox fixes his physical ones.

Summary
The Ex-Disgraced Academic is very slowly turning into a Curator, and as they do, their humanity is slipping away from them. On top of that, they've found themself in something betwixt romance and lethal rivalry with London's foremost censor, Mr Pages. Victorian standards of courting come up short, and ancient bat mating rituals don't seem to fit the bill, either.
How do you look to love when you have no idea what love is supposed to look like?
