"The thing is..." Hermione trailed off, her fingers twiddling in anxious panic. "I'm in love with your son."
Molly nodded, her gaze full of understanding. "Well, of course you are, dear." In the far corner of the hospital ward, Audrey scowled and crossed her arms.
Hermione cleared her throat, her voice barely more than a stutter when she found it again. "Not... not that son. Another one."
Eying each of her sons in turn, Molly gasped when she landed on the one with the reddest ears and guiltiest expression. "Ronald Weasley, what did you do?"
Hermione is a lonely Ministry worker, just trying to survive the holiday season. When a certain redhead turns her world upside down, she thinks she might have finally stumbled upon the life she's always dreamed of.
And then... she meets his brother.

Loud-mouthed, too charming for his own good, and an undeniably attractive rugby player, Ron wasn’t just noticeable—he was impossible to ignore. He barely participated in lectures but thrived in tutorials, lingering after class with an easy grin and too many excuses to keep talking to her.
She’s trying to keep her distance.
Ron isn’t making it easy.
And by the end of the semester, she’s not sure she wants him to.

Hermione turned on Ron.
He was smirking slightly. God, it was just like him to barely speak to her in years—by their mutual agreement, of course—and then immediately make a joke to get under her skin.
