    Sung Jin-Woo is still the Shadow Monarch and he still grows in power unlike any other hunter. However, he doesn't have the system to back him up. He is a reawakened hunter with the skill to create undead shadow soldiers without any cheats or instant healing. Bearing the injuries of the double dungeon must fight the trials ahead of him with far more public scrutiny than before.

    In other words

    Solo leveling but there's no system and Jin-Woo responds to things like a real person who has emotions. He's still OP but not nearly to the level as in canon. He functions with the same worldbuilding as all the other Hunters in the setting, with things taking a pretty different course in the long run.

Except for maybe the monthly pass. The battle pass is fine, but the claymore is the only weapon that's worth it."

    The younger her can't help but groan as she tries to piece together any semblance of what Nene is spelling out. "I was under the assumption that when someone gets to talk to their future self, they'd usually get important information."

    "This is important!" Nene leans forward as she claws her fingers into themselves, trying her best to convey years of pulling advice for a game that hasn't even released yet. "I lost the 50/50 and went to pity both times! And then I had to wait for the rerun of the samurai—the meta defining generalist res shredder because of that! Being unable to group enemies together with his skill—a wind tornado—was such a pain."

    Nene meets her middle school self, and makes some changes for the better—some more important than others.
