Summary
A collection of short stories as Misraaks lives his new life in the Last City after the events in the Season of the Splicer. In his time building peace between House Light and the Last City, he comes to learn more about humanity and of his new friends. However, while the Darkness in the Last City is gone, the Darkness within him remains.
I have an OC that's in a relationship with Misraaks who has a story, but these short stories are standalone.

Summary
Anowa Dima-Vyze is a woman of many secrets. Because of this, she is very suspicious of Cad Bane upon first meeting him but thinks that he is not a threat as long as she does not tell him anything. As time goes on, he ends up gaining her trust and she believes that she might have a friend.
One day, she finds an orphan in an alleyway on her way home from work. Without any parents, Anowa decides to adopt the child as her own and becomes a single mother. It isn't long before she learns that her child is force-sensitive, which she knows she will be able to keep. However, Anowa isn't the only one who has a secret; Cad Bane is a man shrouded in secrecy himself. Sometimes, a secret can't be a secret forever and, sometimes, secrets eventually reveal themselves.
