Life, as it turned out, was not like a trial: there was no statute of limitations, and there was no 3 day pressure to learn everything there was to learn, and he could walk down the street hand in hand with the soon to be chief prosecutor of Los Angeles, then they could find a label for it when one happened conveniently by and not before.
Phoenix, for the first time in a long time, could remember what happiness felt like.
Or; the follow up to Yet Untitled, sorting out the mess that was Phoenix coming out to Apollo, and a few other things that have happen along the way before that.

Summary
Phoenix Wright was in love: a deep, passionate love he threw himself into with abandon, as though he had no room left in his soul for himself or his needs so long as he could chase after the object of his desires.
It was the kind of thing they wrote about in the romance magazines you could read at checkout counters or gas stations, the sort of Disney romantics that everyone thought were dead, and he clearly went in so earnestly: one didn’t change their whole career path to “save someone” during their last year of college without their whole heart being invested, and even if Larry did think the “saving someone” was a tad overdramatic, it was still a ridiculously sweet gesture.
There was only one problem: Larry Butz was straight.

‘On my desk,’ Regis remembers, as he’s done patting down Noctis and the boy looks sick of his prodding now. It clicks, but he’s almost determined not to believe it. He gently places his hands on Noctis' shoulders, trying his best to not appear too grave as he looks into innocent eyes. ‘Where his friend’s rent is supposed to be.’
Well, shit.
What Regis believes to be Noctis speaking for his imaginary friend, turns out to not be so imaginary after all.

Summary
It’s not any easier. It’s harder. It’s worse. Noctis feels for that magic again, to let it build and swirl and flow, he tries to breathe it in and swallow it down and be one with it. It’s in his veins, in his head, in his heart, he was born with it, and so it should come to him as naturally as breathing.
He tries to push it through Ignis, from his own fingertips and into the warm skin in his grasp, the way he had with Gladio. It hurts to even try, it steals his breath away. And nothing happens.
| Noctis pushes himself too hard when he finally gives Ignis and Gladio access to his magic.

In other words: Noctis is minding his own business in the Beyond, supposedly dead, when he sees a woman who looks a lot like Luna about to be killed. He's not about to let that happen.
