Steve’s hands settled cautious at his waist and Tony ran his tongue over the shell of Steve’s ear to whisper--
“You wanna get me pregnant, soldier?”
Steve’s knees buckled a little and Tony moaned softly, fit himself tighter into Steve’s body and hissed, “You wanna breed me? Like you came home from the war and I was just waiting on you? Hold me down and fill me up till I’m spilling over full?”
“Fuck-- fuck.” Steve really did almost collapse when Tony palmed over his cock, squeezing purposefully over the thick length. “Tony.”
“Is that what you want?” Tony left a sharp bite at Steve’s ear lobe, sucked a wet kiss over the soldier’s pulse and shivered when Steve’s grip tightened too hard at his hips. “Cos I can do that for you.”
“I--I--I--” Steve had never been so confused or turned on in his life. “I don’t know how that’s gonna happen but-- but-- but I’m on board.”

Steve got like this sometimes. He’d like to have blamed it on the serum, and certainly that had made it all so much more, but really this was all him. He just had days where all he could think about was sex. Not in the normal, haven’t been laid in awhile so I’m pretty horny kind of way, but in the hot, feverish, woke up hard and didn’t go soft, can’t sit still and can’t focus, can practically feel hands on my body and could almost (and on a couple occasions had) come in my pants just from thinking about it. It wasn’t enough to be a dangerous distraction - the Avengers alarm was guaranteed to snap him out of it (but oh boy did the post-fight adrenaline make it come back with a vengeance.) It... okay, it wasn’t fun, exactly, but there was a certain thrill to it, and on normal days he’d just refuse to leave the bedroom (except maybe for the bathroom, and the kitchen, and the living room, and the garage with his bike) and just enjoy the fuck out of it until it wore off.
Today was not a normal day.

Wow. Tony’s mind went blank when his eyes moved involuntarily and focused in on where Nurse Rogers was pointing something out on the computer screen. It was nothing, really. It was a blob roughly the size of a jelly bean. The picture wasn’t even clear. It was black and white and so ridiculously grainy that Tony couldn’t see clearly.
Oh. Actually, the reason he couldn’t see clearly was because of the tears in his eyes.
“Wow,” he said, voice breaking on the short words. “That’s…”
“Your baby. Right here.”
Tony fell silent again, just taking it all in. That was his baby. His child. A whole little person living inside of him, ready to grow and stretch and make his body do all kinds of weird things. Nine months of his baby inside of him and then eighteen years of them living in Tony’s house.
Somehow, it already didn’t seem like long enough. Seeing it on a screen wasn’t enough either. Tony wanted to reach out, to trace the tiny image with his fingers and try and feel what little extra he couldn’t inside of him.
After a long moment, he licked his lips. Shit. He was having a baby.
“Steve would love this,” he breathed out.

Summary
In 1867, Tony Stark flees New York after refusing to marry the alpha his parents chose for him. His money runs out in the small kingdom of Dacia, ruled over by King Steven of the Rogers line. Somehow, and he’s not entirely sure how, he ends up accepting the position of nanny to the king’s four children: Harley, Peter, Sarah, and Morgan.
Tony bonds with the children easily but their father is harder to get to know. Steve is still grieving his wife’s death four years earlier. His continued mourning has turned the once bright halls into dark and somber shadows of their former glory. Tony isn’t entirely certain what he can do but he knows that he has to do something or else the whole country, so attuned to their leader, will sink into despair. He begins by reconciling the king with his young children.
Meanwhile, the children have decided that it’s high time their father fall in love again—and Tony is the obvious choice. They concoct elaborate plans to force the two together, hardly realizing that Steve and Tony are falling in love, not through their shenanigans but through the quiet moments they share bonding over the love they have for the children.
