Summary
I have been working on this for the past 5 and a half years, since August 2019. This is my effort to make ACOMAF, one of my guilty pleasure reads, more bearable. Not to be long winded, but SJM as a writer leaves something to be desired, and I have just the ego to make this. My goal is to rewrite ACOMAF but gayer and written better. I am probably going to come back and edit this for an eternity, but I need to post something to hold myself to account.
TLDR: What if Rhysand was a lesbian and Feyre had a bisexual awakening about that?

Rozanov cocked his head. “You speak Russian? Or just the curse words?”
“Yes, I speak Russian,” he snapped, defensive and angry. He knew that it had been a mistake to even try to be friendly with Rozanov. “Why? Do I not look Russian to you?” He scoffed.
“No, not really,” Rozanov said. Some of his teammates laughed, although they mostly looked surprised that Shane was speaking to them at all. Rozanov didn’t laugh, though. “Are you Russian?”
“Go fuck yourself.”

Despite an inauspicious start, when Russia’s Ilya Rozanov learns that Canada’s Shane Hollander is fluent in Russian at their first World Junior Championships tournament, it changes everything and sets them on a different course. Instead of being branded as rivals from the very beginning, Ilya and Shane start off as friends.
And, after all, a little friendly rivalry never hurt anyone, did it?

Summary
Being around Ilya is good—better than nearly any other time, because he knows Shane better than anybody else. He can belong around Ilya. He belongs to Ilya, in a way, and Ilya belongs to him.
Shane likes to express that belonging in unconventional ways. Most of all, he loves being on his knees for him.

When they pulled into the garage of their house in Ottawa, Ilya gently prodded Shane to, “shower, get yourself ready.”
Of course, that could mean just about anything, and that was why Ilya phrased it that way. If Shane wanted quiet, wanted to cuddle in the quiet, he could pull on his most ridiculous flannel pajamas and curl in close. But if Shane wanted him, wanted the one language that never failed between them anymore, then Shane knew what he had to do.
And Ilya had a sense that he already knew what Shane would choose.
