Summary
When Regulus Black faked his death after retrieving the locket, he had every intention of hiding forever. Summary
Xiao Xingchen sits on an elevated floor in a teahouse. It seems even the staff at this mundane establishment could tell he was no normal man, that this soul belonged nowhere on the ground with the rest of the common folk. He should have always been treated like this.
He’s wearing his beautiful white robes that wrap around his frame and then billow at his sleeves, Xue Yang catches glimpses of his narrow waist as he lifts a cup to his lips. He’s not wearing that oversized outer layer that hides that figure under loose fabric. His sword is not wrapped with white cloth, as it was in his past life, and instead lay delicately beside him and the silver shines in full glory against the sunlight.
Xue Yang can’t move from the entrance, because Xiao Xingchen looks more perfect than he had ever remembered.
