Summary
You’ve been a linguist in the military for years, chugging along on non-consequential missions. An anonymous letter with the CIA emblem says to meet up urgently. Will your skills in your specialized field be enough to keep your head above water, or will you be crushed under the pressure?

Summary
The stranger from the stairwell stops beside a bank of linen cabinets and folds his arms loosely across his chest.
No, not a stairwell stranger, Dennis reminds himself. His attending.
Dennis steels himself, and tells himself no matter what, he won’t roll over. He can do this. His future is at stake.
He opens his mouth. “Dr. Robby—”
“You are a fourth-year medical student on rotation in my department,” Dr. Robby cuts off, “and what happened in the stairwell this morning does not change that.”
Dennis swallows.Dennis Whitaker didn't need fate to tell him he was meant to be a doctor. He just really wasn't expecting his new attending on his very last rotation of medical school to say the words inked around his bicep.
Or, a slow burn soulmate-identifying marks AU.

Summary
'Seraph' has survived worse than war.
When she applies to try out for the infamous Task Force 141, she gets more than she bargained for. She expects to fail, to get posted on another rotation, another temporary attachment. Instead, she finds something much more daunting: permanence. Her own room, her own post. An unlikely friend in a certain spiky-haired sergeant. A team that doesn't treat her differently for being a woman, a team that doesn't ask questions, but accepts her completely as a part of them. A lieutenant who watches her too closely.
Ghost doesn't trust anyone, not easily. He listens more than he speaks, sees more than he lets on. And when a mission targeting a growing human trafficking ring pulls at strings a little too close to Seraph's past, he starts digging.
What he finds is a truth she's been chasing for years, a lie that's kept her running.
As operations continue and loyalties are tested, both Seraph and Ghost must confront the scars they hide with cloth- and the possibility that staying might be harder than running.

"Are you sure you're ready?
"I feel useless on the sidelines, Kate."
"Well, they're glad to have you, they've been needing a medic for a while now. Have you had time to review the files?"
"Yes. It's quite the read."
"They get into their fair share of trouble."
"..... Sounds like I'll fit in."
A damaged medic is picked up by the 141 in an attempt to stop a bioweapon. Insert oc x Ghost fic because this fandom has me down BAD.
Don't worry Soap doesn't die, I'm not a monster.(◍•ᴗ•◍)
