    She watched his eyes dance across her face and then looking into her own, saw that dimple appear that always, always softened things, and so, instead of getting up, telling him to stop being silly, to finish his hair pasta and she’ll see him in the morning, she said: “Nice to meet you, Chakotay. My name is Kathryn.”

    End of the World is a fix-it fic that contains spoilers from the show. Many of the chapters are written as missing scenes. The story is focused almost entirely on an evolving relationship between Walter Skinner and Dana Scully.
    There is plenty of smut and romance in this fic. I love these characters and this pairing and wanted them to have fun outside (and occasionally inside) the office. Check the tags.
    Starting with the events in 'Paperclip', the first few chapters are angsty and mainly involve random instances of resolved sexual tension.
    Check notes at the end of the first chapter if you'd like to know a little more about the inspiration behind this fic - there are major plot spoilers in the note and throughout this story.
