In the aftermath of Tyger Pax, Megatron has learned the scout he got his claws on stellar-cycles ago is none other than Optimus Prime's personal scout. Wanting to hit Optimus where it hurts most, Megatron makes a plan to capture B-127 and find out just what the scout knows.
Meanwhile, as the Autobots make plans to retreat from Cybertron in the Ark, B-127 has been doing his absolute best to prove himself capable of whatever mission he is sent on. Gathering information, breaking into Decepticon facilities, anything.
Unbeknownst to him, B-127 has made enemies. Powerful enemies.

His head ticks slightly to the side, and he mumbles, “Doing what?”

“This!”
“This,” he repeats, and Ragatha is slowly starting to believe that there’s something severely wrong with him in the head.
Ragatha is tired and Jax makes everything worse, as he does with most things.
Only this time, it's completely out of line with his character.

“I think… you’re having another nightmare,” he murmured.
Her hand shifted against his back, grazing his spine. Even through his clothes, he felt the movement as a pinprick.
“You’re probably right,” she agreed, voice still sounding so… so… “I’ll probably forget all about it. In the morning.”
Jax nodded in turn. Slowly. Everything was going so slowly.
“You probably should.”Or: Ragatha has a nightmare and Jax has to comfort her so she won't lose her mind. That's the only reason he's comforting her. No other reason...

“Or else what?” he drawls smugly. His cheeks are starting to get sore from how wide he’s smiling.
Her mouth closes and opens like a dying fish. The panic only grows more and more apparent as she wracks her brain for a solution.
“Or else I’ll –” she stammers. “- or else I’ll never talk to you again.”
Something within him goes cold at the idea.
Ragatha gives Jax the silent treatment and it bothers him more than it should.
