Summary
They're selfish, impossible wants. Carefully tucked away and hidden in Sanemi's heart. They'll devour him if he lingers on them, hungry things that they are. But he feeds them anyway, lets them live off scraps of hope.

Summary
Giyuu's anger wasn't enough to do anything with, not anymore. He'd burned himself out at such a young age. All that was left was ash.
Genya seemed like him. His anger was fear, a shield he used. It wasn't his core like his brother and the other hashira who had tried to help him.
Maybe, just maybe, that would be enough for Giyuu to make a difference where they hadn't.
Or: Genya becomes Giyuu's tsugoku. Sanemi does not approve.
