Summary
Kyoko Kirigiri is not the super high-school level detective for a dumb reason, like luck or a last name attached to a conglomerate empire. She is, however, humble enough to realize that the attributes that make her an excellent detective aren't ones shared by all students, even those considered to be 'smart' by industry standards. With that being said, how bothersome it is that ignorance and ego can genuinely plague one's view of others and the world.
Kyoko knows she's not crazy. So, her friends are probably just really slow in their own, unique ways.
(Here's a, hopefully, not-too-long fic where Kyoko has to witness a clueless Byakuya and Makoto figure out a really simple mystery. Bruh)
We start off slow, and not in friend territory, but we eventually get there, and more.

Summary
Clumsy humans. Honestly, Byakuya thinks, people who can't manage to carry themselves in a respectful way without tripping up in some form should be eradicated. They were just another part of the useless 99% of mere peasants.
But, Byakuya asks himself, if they're just another fraction of the world's pointless majority, then why are you even giving them the luxury to pass to and fro through your mind? Well, the answer to that question was the rather... unique circumstances Byakuya found himself in presently.
