“In this cabin, I'll be whatever you want me to be.” He breathed.
And it clawed at every frayed nerve like the feral cat it was, chasing every high, every chance for love and affection and intimacy – to risk it and taste the salt on Illuga's lips. To ruin a friendship before it even began.
It was terrifying. To remember what it felt like to want something. To want someone. And not just the idea of someone.
“Don't say that…” He murmured, leaning into the calloused hand that held his cheek, tucking his face into it like a shy little dove. “...Because then…I'll never want it to stop snowing.”]
--In which Illuga finds Freminet unconscious and washed up on the shores of Ashveil Peak, and drags his sorry ass to the nearest cabin -- right before a huge snowstorm is scheduled to hit.
