    Izuku hated most villains, but then again, he loathed most Heros too. He had a few exemptions on both sides, but his admiration was hard to obtain nowadays.

    When he was a child, he would have given everything to be a hero, but those days were gone.

    Stolen from him.

    Heroes want to pretend a harsh line separates the good from the bad, but that line was much more fluid than they want to admit.
    Izuku knew he could never be a hero after what he had done, leaving him with one option.

    He chose to become the in-between. He would be both the good and the corrupt.

    He is Izuku Midoriya, the infamous vigilante, Chaos.

Now, at UA, with his family around him, he think’s he’s finally ready to put it behind him. But when faces from his past begin to return, he realises they aren’t quite as ready to forgive and forget as he is.

    Okay so, alright. Dunce face wasn’t completely wrong, he does love winning, and had declared it many times. But he wasn’t completely right either and he had to set them straight. He opened his mouth to correct them but was interrupted.

    “Apparently someone does, seeing as they made you this cutely wrapped bento box with a little secret love note inside.” Mina grinned mischievously, excited at Katsuki’s misfortune “Our resident gremlin has a secret admirer!”

    Or an alternate story of unwanted advancements, growth and love.

    "Don't come, Deku."

    Those words haunt Izuku for years. He remembers how his hand, when outstretched to the blonde just couldn't reach him in time. And because of Izuku, because of his own inadequacy , Kacchan was gone. He was gone forever - declared dead after he was kidnapped by the League of Villains.

    A truly tragic end to a hero prodigy.

    Now, years later, when Izuku is on patrol, the scents of ash and gasoline hang heavy in the air. The barest notes of cinnamon sits heavy on his tongue, as he searches the streets. The scents are so familiar it wraps around Izuku like a blanket - making his heart ache has he continues his patrol.

    He can't shake the feeling that someone is watching him.

    It isn't until he spots a tall, mysterious blonde in an alley does he realize something's wrong. Familiar, blood-red eyes glare at him from the distance, causing Izuku to almost lose his footing. There's a crooked smirk etched onto that pale face like a razor. Izuku knows it too well, but he doesn't know if he can believe what he is seeing.

    "...Kacchan?"

The source has been identified as ex-pro hero Ground Zero, and CCTV footage shows possible evidence of a clash between the perpetrator and his accomplice, ex-pro hero Deku. A team of highly-skilled heroes and emergency services has been being deployed to investigate the scene immediately."
     
    Caught in the dead space between hero society and villain territory, Katsuki and Izuku go on the run after being wrongfully accused of a heinous crime. With the media ‘exposing’ them as lowly felons, authorities declaring them as a Code Red national threat, and law enforcement chasing them through the city, the two ex-heroes realise that their trust in each other is the last thread holding them afloat and together.

    Until that thread snaps.
