    Mobius held the file in his hand up as a divider, trying to separate himself and Loki from the boy. "What is he doing here?"

    Loki leaned closer, going along with. "I thought he'd be a good addition to the team," he whispered back.

    "What team?" He asked, his eyes narrowing.

    "Our team," Loki replied.

    Mobius shook his head. "We don't have a team."

    "Sure we do," he said. "you, me, B-15, OB, Casey, sometimes Sylvie—depending on if she's in the mood to save the world or burn it down—and now we have Peter. He's reliable, I swear. He's worked with my brother."

    "Right, it's nice that you're making friends," Mobius said. "but he knows nothing about time variance."

    "Nonsense," Loki insisted. "He's met several of his variants when a spell tore a hole in his universe."

    "You do know I'm standing right here, right?" Peter asked. "I can hear everything you're saying."
