The first time he hears Dustin and Mike mention the name Eddie Munson he almost walks into a VHS display at work.
Steve wants to ask them how Eddie’s doing but then his face from that last party flashes into his head and he always clams up. If he was Eddie he’d want nothing to do with him and rightly so.
Instead Steve teasingly complains about how much time they spend with Eddie and that’s as far as it goes.

Summary

Summary
Summer school. Eddie is retaking his Trig class over the summer to try and finally graduate next year. Steve is sympathetic to Eddie’s situation, really, he had barely scraped through Senior year by his teeth. Even before he started dreaming of fighting Demagorgons, he barely paid attention in his classes, surviving off of copied homework. So he gets it, he really does.
It’s just that he’s bored.
Or, Steve is a little brat, and Eddie makes him pay for it. There may or may not be handcuffs.
