The last sentence comes unexpectedly out of Kevin’s mouth. He realises a bit too late what he’s just said. Fuck. But luckily for him, Neil continues to be as dumb as ever.
“I didn’t promise you anything,” he says.
“No, you didn’t.” Kevin stares at the wall next to him.
