Summary
In an effort to serve people who couldn't physically come to the library, technical services had recently added an "Ask-a-Librarian" box to the library web page, sending reference questions directly to Soobin via his email a.k.a the said Librarian. Most of them are, sadly, stupid questions, which make his job quite boring.
But when a string of complicated and entertaining questions begin to flow into his email box, courtesy of the "Ask-A-Librarian" service, Soobin finds his boredom vanishing and being replaced with an increasing curiosity to learn who's behind them.

“That guy… He’s a god-awful rat, isn’t he?” Kai’s smile is crooked, clearly amused.
Despite the situation, the abruptness of the statement rings hilariously in Yeonjun’s ears. “He’s god-awful yes. For sure. Poor rats though. He’s no Remy for sure, dude can't even cook edible ramen.”
Kai’s grin widens as if he’s pleased with their exchange of kiddish insults, merely propping his head up with one hand and keeping his gaze on Yeonjun.

Soobin had always been hopelessly in love with Yeonjun.
Yeonjun, meanwhile, had always been in love with music.
So when the moment came to confess his all-consuming, heart-fluttering, probably-one-sided love, there was never any doubt on the how.
Now, if only Soobin could make it through the performance without crumbling under the weight of the spotlight—or Yeonjun’s gaze—he would personally thank every deity in existence.
Or alternatively, Soobin sings his feelings in front of the whole student body for a talent show festival and wins himself a boyfriend—loosing someone fifty bucks.
