Summary
Buck always helps Christopher make his Father's Day cards for Eddie but this year, when he asks, Christopher lies and says he's making it at school. When Buck overhears Chris asking Carla for help making the card, he's confused and hurt.

“Tía Pepa called me on my way home. She’s still trying to set me up,” Eddie groaned, scrubbing a hand across his jaw, missing the look that flashed across Buck’s face. “I don’t want to go on random dates.”
“Then don’t,” Buck muttered, trying to keep his tone as neutral as possible. He wasn’t sure that he succeeded. But god, even just the thought of Eddie going on dates was painful. Pining for your best friend wasn’t not something Buck would recommend to anyone.
Or, the one where Eddie continuously misunderstands the assignment: five times Eddie goes on a date with someone Pepa sets him up with and one time he goes out the person he really wants.

Summary
The quiet, comfortable silence was broken by Christopher coming back into the kitchen, a confused frown on his face and what looked to be a slim stack of homework in his hands.
“Hey, dad? Can you help me with my science homework?” Christopher asked softly, coming up beside Buck and leaning into his side.
Eddie winced. “I’ll try, buddy, but you know science isn’t my forte,” Eddie replied, looking to Buck for help.
Christopher giggled. “I know, daddy. That’s why I asked dad!” He said, leaning more heavily against Buck and putting the papers he was holding down in front of him.
There was a sudden stillness in the room as Christopher’s words washed over Buck and Eddie, their meaning and implications sinking in.

Summary
At the 118's annual Fourth of July BBQ, Ana is supposed to be keeping an eye on Christopher while Eddie grabs them some food; however her attention is on the fact that Eddie doesn't trust her the way he trusts Buck. With her preoccupied, she doesn't notice Christopher losing his balance until it's too late. Christopher has a little fall and Eddie has some realizations.
