Summary
Somewhere in the desert, there was a decaying body that belonged to the once smiling boy he'd trained with in the Ulster Rifles.
Maybe it would be found years on, reburied and marked with his name but probably as nothing more than unknown. There were too many unknown that the desert never returned. Swallowed up by a storm. Swallowed up by sand. Never to be seen again.

my take on how they could end the series, inspired by a conversation with my dad. Because the ghost of Eoin deserves more screen time, let him haunt the narrative even more.
