Summary
Harry's not sure what to do with himself after the war.
He goes to see his mind healer once a week. Refuses any and all offers to join the ministry as an auror and tries to not think himself selfish for it. Bakes every now and then. When he can't sleep, he duels with conjured targets in Arthur's garage. Takes Molly out on shopping dates. Tries to figure out what he wants. Tells himself he will redo the Weasley's back garden before Ron's and Hermione's wedding in the summer - the muggle way. He digs soil. Moves stones.
The physical activity keeps him occupied and bone-tired at the end of the day.
He still thinks too much.
He thinks he might be ready for more in life - not that he necessarily knows what more means.

Summary
Dumbledore doesn't make it in time for Harry's trial, and the outcome is very different. Harry is expelled, his wand snapped.
But he refuses to give up. And he is done waiting around for Albus Dumbledore to give him information.
Deciding to take his life into his own hands, Harry asks for training from several Order members, preparing himself to fight Voldemort while the whole wizarding world believes he's helpless and back in the muggle world.
Meanwhile, his friends are at Hogwarts, tackling their own problems in the form of Dolores Umbridge. Harry hadn't expected the separation to be so difficult - or for a certain mischievous redhead to make the waiting game they'd entered into so very excruciating.
He might have lost his home in Hogwarts, but with Sirius and Remus around, Harry begins to learn that rebuilding a family isn't as hard as he'd anticipated.

Summary
After the war, Harry vanishes from the public eye and resurfaces at a dragon reserve in Romania—unannounced, scarred, and very much not done with danger. When a Romanian Longhorn curls up in his lap and purrs like a kitten, Charlie starts to suspect something extraordinary. Turns out dragons understand Parseltongue. And they’ve been waiting for someone to listen.
Now Harry’s speaking to dragons, drawing the attention of the Ministry, and kissing a certain redheaded handler who smells like smoke and salvation. Charlie’s not sure what’s more dangerous: the dragons… or how badly he wants Harry to stay.

Summary
Harry was running before he could think, his wand gripped in his hand as he flung himself into the muggles, dragging them to the ground and rolling quickly, getting one knee under himself and then one foot, staggering to standing just before the dragon reached them. There was a cacophony of sound, the dragon’s roar, the screams of the muggles, shouting from behind the dragon. He could see her eyes, pupils just thin slits against the gold, and then only her open mouth, white teeth and crimson tongue, flames curling out of her throat. His mind was clear, for the first time in years.
“I do not exist to die,” he whispered.
OR:
Purpose fulfilled after the final battle, Harry has drifted, following the plan he set before his death, but always feeling like this life did not truly belong to him. After a close encounter with a dragon, Harry realizes that he cannot continue along his old path, and ends up in Romania, chasing the thrill of dragons but finding more than he expected in the company of Charlie Weasley.
This is a story about finding a way to keep living when you no longer know how. It’s also a story about dragons, ancient magic, found family, and hot dracologists.
