Summary
Louis struggles to stay afloat with a grueling bartender gig at a local strip club. Louis rolls his eyes. He tries to seem unaffected, but he knows his breathing is still harsh. “Don’t bother me again. I’ll have you thrown out.”
Lestat leans into his space, casual in his intrusion. “Will you?”
Louis can’t actually throw out Lestat, not for anything he’s done so far. If Tom knew he was threatening to boot a rich customer over this, he’d shout himself hoarse. But Lestat doesn’t know that. Probably.
“Yes. I can and I will.”
Lestat’s hand wraps around Louis’ left wrist, and his grip is firm, proprietary. Louis tries to pull away, but he can’t budge Lestat’s hand. He feels panic start to creep in, insidious.
“Ah, ah, ah, it’s alright, chéri, I won’t hurt you.”

Summary
Louis is a business mogul and sometimes art dealer who encounters starving artist Lestat at one of Armand's mixers. When Armand mentions that Lestat is down on his luck and looking for a sugar daddy, Louis asks Armand to suggest him as an option. Louis expects to dictate the terms of their arrangement. He has a strict protocol in his mind of how such arrangements should go. He plans to keep things casual, non-romantic, and sate his desires with Lestat when he has the need. But Louis underestimates everything about Lestat and soon learns he cannot script a hurricane.

Summary
As he looked through the photos of Lestat, he became increasingly interested in “matching” with him. There was a picture of Lestat in black and white, sitting on a chair, mile long legs spread as Lestat leaned forward, hands in his hair. Another one showed him at a grand piano, dressed in a burgundy suit, hair tied back with a black ribbon, and his divine profile on full display. But Louis’ favourite one showed Lestat laughing whilst looking at someone offscreen, his golden curls blowing in the wind, eyes bright with humour.

Lestat is utterly broke. And not in the genteel sense either. Armand takes action and signs Lestat up as a sugar baby.
Louis is an extremely wealthy entrepreneur from a powerful business dynasty. He isn’t interested in emotional attachment.
Well, that’s what he keeps telling himself as they get to know each other.
