Summary
The ladies of the Hex have been in a complex dance of emotions with one another for years now- or rather, just the one, several times over.
Eleanor and Lettie were thick as thieves, once, by Eleanor's account - perhaps they could have been more, but a chronospatially complex eldritch disease seemingly shattered any positivity between them. In theory, those pieces have been swept back up, but.. Neither have taken the time to see if they could be pieced back together.
Aoi has clearly had feelings for the two of them for a long time, but has not made moves towards either; there's even a chance BOTH like her! (⊙///⊙;) But; with the two of them so at odds on a day to day basis, could the two of them share her without causing spats.. Or, is her magnetism just what all three of them need to bridge the gap?
Meanwhile, Drifter and Eleanor have discovered that they are.. Perhaps a bit more than *usual* best friends to one another.

The first words even spoken to the Drifter from any of the Hex members still buzzed in his ears, even as the world swelled around him to turn back the clock as he slammed his fist into the concrete flooring. The Drifter’s eyes dart around, heat blossoming in a light flush on their face. Arthur angles their head to look at him, his eyes soft. “You still up for it, love?”
“Yeah. Fuck, yeah, I am. I’ve just—my hands feel clammy. I’m nervous. I feel ridiculous, Arthur,” they bemoan.
Arthur’s hand slips from the Drifter’s cheek to their shoulder, giving the tense muscle a gentle, reassuring squeeze. “You’re not ridiculous. Anything I can do to ease your mind?”
“I don’t know. We’ve already gone over everything, but I still—” the Drifter swallows their words, biting their lip.
“Still worried you’re not gonna be enough? Oh, sweets…” Arthur leans in, lips brushing against the shell of their ear. “...When I get going, I won’t leave any room in that brain of yours for worries.”
Arthur and the Drifter have sex for the first time.
