When waking up as a clone on Kamino, all he could do was blend in and stay quiet about all he knew. It was difficult and often painful, but he knew that if he told those he loved, they would be put in danger, too. Knowledge was an easy way to attract attention, and the last thing he wanted was attention from the wrong people.

Rumi walked out of the bathroom and into the living room, still toweling dry her hair, to find her idiot boyfriend face down on the couch in nothing but his underwear.
“Then get a job,” she snarked. “Bum.”
“I have a job,” Oniko continued with his whining. “They just won’t let me work.”

Oniko is a lot of things. A Pro Hero, a boyfriend, a general nuisance. The list goes on. What he is not is a teacher. Or good with teenagers. But hey, the world works in mysterious ways, and now he's got a small desk in the teacher's office at UA that comes with free coffee and chatty coworkers. At least he's not FULLY a teacher, he just had to work with All Might. Which would be a breeze, right?
...Right?
