"Don’t worry Chopper,” Nami pipes in, stretching her legs lazily as she slouches back against her sunlounge, “None of that stuff happened anyway.”
“Huh? Then how did you guys meet?”
“Well, the part about the Black Cat pirates and Kuro was true, but that’s about it.”
“Who’s Kuro?” The question comes from their captain, who speaks around a mouthful of food and promptly gags on a swallowed bone.
Nami sighs, all too used to her captain’s disgusting behaviours and selective memory. “The cat butler from Usopp’s village.” She cringes as her captain reaches his fingers down his own throat to pull out the lodged bone. “He tried to kill you.”
“GOLDEN POOP SUIT?”
“HUH?!”

He starts to feel better on the way there, but his mood comes crashing down quick when he finds none other than Zuko - banished Fire Prince and the guy who has been chasing Team Avatar across the fucking globe ever since Sokka’s left the Southern Water Tribe - standing behind the counter in an ivory and green apron, having the Spirits-damned audacity to make it look good.
OR: s2e13 (city of walls and secrets) if sokka had been in the jasmine dragon when jet barged in and accused zuko and iroh of being firebenders

Summary
Before Toph leaves to see her mother, she decides to take Sokka to her favorite tea shop in Ba Sing Se, the Jasmine Dragon.
Sokka recognizes the tea server and nearly has a heart attack. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), Toph mistakes his elevated heart rate for attraction and insists on setting him and the server up on a date.
In Sokka's opinion, it could be worse. A date is as good an opportunity as any to get some intel from Zuko.
