The boats emitted a faint hum, almost undetectable. Alexis placed her hand on the seat and felt the magic shifting under her fingers. Magic. Alexis could still hardly believe it was real. All those times she’d caused strange things to happen, felt the same strange shifting in the air, heard that subtle hum, albeit it had been more chaotic then, it had been magic. Alexis wondered if this school would teach her to make her magic as quiet as the magic that kept the boat drifting forwards. She hoped so. She was tired of magic exploding from her with her emotions. She was tired of the consequences.

Summary

After a getting overwhelmed at a propo in District 13, Katniss runs and finds a place to hide where she can try to calm herself down. Johanna finds her and rather than tell her to stop behaving abnormally and to get back to the propo she sits with her. The two talk and become closer than before.

Summary
After dying at the hands of Ryuk, Light Yagami woke up the day before he received the Death Note. Looking at his past actions, he decided to destroy the notebook. Yet, he failed to do so and a new Kira rises to punish criminals, just as he had once before. In order to stop them and all others who would walk the same path, he investigates these serial murders. He takes in an alias, Y, and joins in the cat-and-mouse game of L and Kira, acting perfectly in the middle.
For L, Y is the variable most unknown to him in the Kira case. That is a stretch, he must admit, considering he is dealing with a supernatural serial killer, but he would rather that all mysteries of this case be solved, including someone with knowledge impossible to receive. Someone who sometimes helps with his investigation and, other times, works against him. Someone who he knows is Y but lacks the evidence he needs. Just who exactly are you, Light Yagami?

Summary
The war had long since passed, Harry was now in his early twenties and working as an Auror, Harry looked back on his time at Hogwarts with a mixture of sadness, wishes of change and the slightest hints of disdain. His engagement to Ginny had been one of the few good outcomes from his time there.
He’d been distracted by his thoughts of Hogwarts whilst sorting through the evidence of a current case he’d been investigating, something to do with a young wizard messing with things he shouldn’t have just yet. It would most likely land the child with a slap on the wrist but Harry still needed to sort through the mess that had been made.
He’d been moving an oddly coloured potion from the evidence box when it slipped from his hands, the potion tumbling rather quickly to the floor in a way that was almost comical with the way it tumbled before splashing onto the floor. Harry closed his eyes to avoid any of this unknown potion from getting into them, but if he had opened his eyes…he would have seen the world shift around him and he would have seen his own body shift and change in ways it shouldn’t have been able to.

Summary
