I have been a soldier, a cavalry captain; I was a talented archer (and to tell the truth I'm not doing badly even now ..). In this world torn by war and Mother Nature, I have fought men, and tried to bring justice to this region. I met a warlock, and with him I discovered a mystical world, inhabited by terrible creatures, actual demons of the abyss. We joined forces to fight them, and in doing so ... I changed. We became friends. We fell in love. A strong and pure feeling, which has brought us this far. We are finally happy, my sorcerer and I, and I would love to cry out our love to the whole world. But I can not. Very few would accept Us. Maybe it would be enough to change a few names ... Udine could become the exotic Verona, I could call myself Romeo instead of Alexander, and Magnus ... he could be ... Juliet. Yes… I'm sure the idea of becoming a noblewoman will amuse him enormously… But I want to tell you how things really went.

The man's silhouette stood out sharply against the window opening. Tall, broad shoulders, strong features, he aroused fear and respect even from the roof from which attentive eyes were watching him. In the streetlight the details of his face were not sharp, but he looked quite young, and something in his attitude betrayed military training.
He moved silently to another window, peering inside for a few moments before moving on to the next. He was clearly looking for something ... or someone. Once he finished the ground floor and returned to the starting point, he snorted in annoyance. He took a few steps back and, rubbing his feet on the asphalt as if he were wearing skates, he started running, heading straight against the wall. Instead of bumping into it, his observers saw him swiftly fly up to the upper floor windows to resume his strange exploration several meters above the ground.A damsel in distress, aka Magnus (but he's capable of difending himself :) ) and a fierce protector , aka Alexander Lightwood.
