Summary
Inspired by the BBC TV series 'Sherlock' and the exquisite ‘for all that bitter delights will sour’ by fanfic author Darcy Lindbergh.
This is a partial retelling of her story, branching off halfway at a moment when another path might have been taken. I've tried to write it in a manner that stands alone but avoids excessive repetition.
The referenced/implied SA and domestic violence does not refer to John and Sherlock's relationship, although theirs at the start has been (unintentionally) mildly emotionally abusive and involved imperfect consent. They're both very much good ones and soft boys at heart!
This contains brief mention of Mary as a villain and no Watson baby, following the vibes of Lindbergh's original.

Summary

TLDR: Sherlock Holmes begins an experiment to study love, but through his observations he discovers not only his own feelings for John Watson, but also that John feels the same way.

In an alternate universe with canon divergence, Sherlock and John go undercover as Master and slave in order to solve a murder to save Sherlock's twin brother, Sheffield.
NOTE: This used to be book 2 of Consequences and Cases. I found I didn't want my sweet boys to change so hardcore for this one story. I've just moved it out of C and C and set it up in its own AU so it can go deep and dark as I need it to.
I'm working a few weeks on a new C and C book 2 but will come right back into this one I promise!
Please: if you loved my sweet Sherlock in the other stories and are not into seriously dark material that includes slavery, torture, violence, humiliation and group sex/sharing, please consider skipping this one. In other words, I as the author, suggest politely NOT TO READ THIS. This book is hardcore BDSM, not 'playing' at it, not a Dom/sub romantic romp but REALISTIC portrayal of non consensual sex acts, sometimes very violent. There is murder and ANGST.
I do not condone the non-consensual aspects of this story. IT IS FICTION. Not my characters. I just torture and torment them.
