Riz understands what Kristen is trying to say. And it would be a lie to say that he hasn’t experienced any FOMO watching Gorgug and Fabian disappear behind a locked door or Fig, Kristen, and Adaine in a tangle of limbs in the kitchen cooking post-coitus breakfast. A lie, but ultimately this too mischaracterizes the situation. Riz, even now that he has discovered the wonders of “me-time,” still isn’t interested in being in the middle of it all. His skin still prickled at the thought of another’s teasing touch or sticky sweat covering his small body. But, as he runs the conversation back in his mind and tries to think of something, anything, to say, his thoughts weren’t entirely innocent. Far from it. In fact, when he thinks back to the catalyst of it all, that moment of seeing Gorgug, and the thoughts that have plagued him since, any pretense of innocence slips away.

“You love ussss,” Adaine teases, leaning down to grin at him. “You can’t deny it.” She goes to take another sip of her drink and Riz retaliates in true roguelike fashion, getting on his tiptoes to press two fingers underneath her drink and tip it further back. Adaine squeezes her eyes shut and chugs, succeeding her constitution saving throw to avoid choking.
(She’ll wonder later if Riz realizes just how much that little action changed the dynamic of their friend group forever.)

Zukko nodded his head and followed Sokka a little ways past the group. He didn’t really know what the alpha was going to say, but a feeling of dread was settling in his stomach. Maybe his scent was beginning to be too much. Aang told him he didn’t need to use his Uncle’s herbs anymore, but Zuko didn’t know if the two alpha siblings would appreciate his pheromones all over the place. Sure, Toph didn’t suppress her pheromones in any way, but she was a lot younger than Zuko, her smell hadn’t developed entirely, so Zuko knew it wasn’t the same situation. Before Zuko could cook up more possibilities of what he’d done wrong, Sokka said, “If someone was captured by the Fire Nation, where would they be taken?”
Huh?
or, Sokka and Zuko go to the boiling rock in an attempt to find Sokka's father, but every part of their plan goes wrong.
