“What?” Will almost laughed. “No!”
Mike flopped his head down on the couch beside Will’s legs. “Whyyy?” His voice was muffled by the pillows. “Dustin did it, and he’s the funnest.”
Will considered this and concluded that it was stupid for Mike to attribute ‘funness’ to how willing you were to take off your shirt. He opened his mouth to say that. “You should take off your shirt.” It took him a second to register the words that had come out of his mouth, and another to realize that that was in fact not what he had planned to say.
Mike and Will get into a summer situationship. It's all fun and games at the start, but by the end they'll have to piece their broken friendship back together or lose each other for good.

Jonathan.” Will whispers desperately, he’s managed to open his eyes but his body is locked up. It took him five minutes to gather the strength to even call out to Jonathan. Jonathan whips around in an instant and is crouching. With the slightest shake, Will comes back to his body and all of the pressure surrounding him goes away.
“What? What’s the matter.”
Something is different, his dreams follow a pattern. Everything seems fine and dandy for a short period of time, then he’s falling head first into a storm of flashes that he can barely make sense of. But whatever is happening now is different. “I want mom.”
