Izuku remembers saying no multiple times, so is really his fault? He can’t see with all the smoke in the kitchen and his eyes are tearing up, Chad is too busy having spasms on the ground and Shinsou might have passed out, he’s not too sure.
All he did was turn on the stove, he didn’t slap any `meat` on it, it just combusted. Like it’s not even on fire, it’s just smoking. Distantly he can hear the doorbell ring, indicating someone just entered the hell on earth, but he’s too busy trying to breathe since he thinks his lungs are failing on him.

Izuku gets peer pressured into working at McDonald which is actually ancient eldritch horror show but like, who cares? There's a highschool teacher whos's suspicious of Izuku no matter what he does, a villain in a behive suit trying to make him join his little band of villans, A girl who takes knife play way to seriously, and demon hell spawns, who all chip away at Izuku's sanity.
And then there's Chad. Being Chad. Doing Chad things.
