Before, Kris had a slight worry about it. That the SOUL would hurt somebody, force them to do something horrible and awful that they couldn’t go back on. But they had been reassured that the SOUL was harmless without a vessel, that without Kris, it couldn’t do much on its own.

Summary
Somehow you must’ve made your way to the mirror because the next thing you realized, you were standing in front of it, staring at the reflection. The person staring back at you had your traits as if you were briefly described by the police—your hair color, your eye color, your height… But you knew it couldn’t be you because the skin on the reflection was too fair and smooth, the pajamas too out of style, and the hair way healthier than you had ever seen. The tiny details from this person in front of you was enough to conclude that although they looked similar to you, they were not you.
Then a bright golden square thing appeared between you and the mirror, scaring you so badly you let out a yelp that overshadowed the ting sound this thing made.

Something hit the tree, creating a loud noise and startling her out of her disappointment. Snapping around, Yuko spotted Hyakkimaru running towards her, a rock in his hand that he prepared to throw.
Anger boiled in her stomach and she pointed at him, shouting, “HEY! That’s not very safe, Hyakkimaru!”
Hyakkimaru threw the rock and Yuko shrieked. Luckily, it missed and only hit the tree. Her anger grew, bringing red to her cheeks as she yelled, “I’ll tell Mr. Jukai you’re being—”
A loud splash cut her off and Yuko had half a second to look over her shoulder to see a large fish emerging from the river.

The Hero took her hand and shook it, giving a silent nod. Not much of a talker but Jynx wasn't caught off guard. She had heard how quiet the Hero was.
“Sorry I couldn’t introduce myself earlier. I was on an expedition when you arrived in Hyrule.” Jynx lifted their joined hands up into the air as she exclaimed, “But now we’re coworkers in protecting Hyrule together! Let’s do our best!”
