Of course Atsushi is big.
The grass is green, the sky is blue, and Murasakibara Atsushi is big. Indisputably, conclusively by every definition of the word, as though the world would cease to spin if he were anything but.
It’s just…well.
Tatsuya is struggling to think of much else, that’s all.
Maybe it never even really occurred to him just how big Atsushi actually is. Not completely, not until this very moment.
A giant, unmoving, robust wall that resolutely will not budge; and Tatsuya, a mere delicate wind, inconsequential to the solid stone bricks he breezes up against, only to dissipate into wisps and vanish into thin air.
Atsushi is hungry and Tatsuya, of course, services him. (Or, rather, is serviced by him.)

“I just…” Nacht starts and then stops to sigh, having another drink whilst he’s at it. A little defensively, he continues, “I realised that maybe I don’t know a whole lot about your life before and it’s—it’s weird, alright?”
When Yami crooks his head to look at Nacht, he notices the soft pink to his cheeks, and Yami knows Nacht is not nearly drunk enough yet to be flushed from the alcohol.
Yami laughs again. “Did’ja think my life started when I met you?”
“Obviously not,” Nacht huffs, the pink in his cheeks turning darker.
Nacht and Yami talk about Yami’s past. And maybe a little bit more.

It is at this point that Kagami finally wakes up enough to realise three things. First, the message had been addressed to Aomine. Second, this isn’t his room. Third, the arm he’d slung over his eyes is suspiciously browner than his actual skin colour.

Summary
They sit there quietly, just side by side, the portable player between them on the couch with its aux cord plugged in and splitting off into two, an earbud in Atsushi’s right and Muro-chin’s left. It’s nice. It’s really nice. Muro-chin doesn’t talk too much so he can still really appreciate what he’s listening to, just picks up the jewel case to read the next song on the track list when the next song starts and before long, forty-something minutes have passed and it’s over.
“I enjoyed that. I need to unpack my CD’s properly too now you’ve reminded me. Thanks, Atsushi,” Himuro says with a smile, and Atsushi doesn’t know what it is, but something moves in his stomach, fluttering around. Maybe he’s hungry.
“If you want, we can listen to something again. You bring something you like next time, Muro-chin.”
“Really? I’d like that,” he replies happily, and another wave of the unknown feeling crests in Atsushi's stomach.
“Let’s go and get something to eat Muro-chin, it’s been ages,” Atsushi says, rising to his feet with a yawn, stretching out to his full height. It’s funny, Muro-chin is definitely not short when he’s next to anybody else, but next to him, he almost looks cute.

And third and worst of all: Himuro Tatsuya—perfect, evil, preheat-radiating Himuro Tatsuya—is playing roulette with Atsushi’s last three brain cells like some kind of beautiful, terrifying omega assassin.
Atsushi is doing his best to be a Good Alpha™.
He’s keeping his hands to himself. He’s not sniffing Himuro’s hoodie (much). He’s definitely not thinking about biting that perfect, biteable throat.Meanwhile, Himuro Tatsuya is playing 4D chess.
(Or: Five times Atsushi nearly loses his mind, one time he loses control, and the morning after when he discovers—too late—that he’s been outmaneuvered.)
