Tenna seemed taller than usual, and was shouting orders like it was his job (which, Spamton supposed, it usually was). Unfortunately, he was wearing the most hideous Christmas sweater Spamton had ever seen. It was green, red, and white, with little TVs sprinkled among snowflakes, reindeer, and santas. Christmas lights were woven into the wool in every colour imaginable, making it look like he was glowing. A scarf of golden tinsel was wrapped merrily around his neck, alongside a large santa hat that tightly hugged the four corners of his boxy head. Little holes had been cut into the hat to let his antennae curl cheerily through. Spamton suddenly realised that alongside his shouted orders, extremely loud Christmas music was blasting from Tenna’s own worn and crackling speakers, popping with feedback occasionally from the sheer volume of noise.
Christmas music. Christmas tree. Christmas tinsel and garlands… Oh. Oh no.
Still somewhat new to TV World, Spamton is unexpectedly thrust into the most exuberant of Christmas celebrations at the hands of Tenna. The only problem? He hates Christmas. Obviously, this won't do, so Tenna proposes a bet. A bet that he can make Spamton love Christmas again. What could go wrong?

Yearning to reconnect with Tenna after years of isolation, Spamton pays his former partner a visit. But when things don’t go as planned, Spamton resorts to desperate measures in order to get Tenna to recognize him.
The biggest mistake he ever made was letting Spamton walk out the door.
Now that the “Golden Age” of TV Time is over, Tenna spends every waking hour wondering which day might be his last. Without Spamton in his life to keep him from becoming obsolete, Tenna spirals into an uncertain future. He can’t figure out which is stronger: his resentment toward Spamton for abandoning him, or the intense pining for the love they once shared.
Try as they might to mend their broken bond, there is no recovering from this fatal error of their own creation.

It wasn’t fear. Kris had never been afraid of storms, or rain; in fact, they’d always been a pretty quiet kid, all things considered. It wasn’t the rain or thunder that rolled a haze over their mind, a darkness settling coldly at the edges, sharp and unwelcome. No, it was the feelings that came with the storms; the reminders, the memories, the echoes of pain that weighed down their shoulders and landed like bruises upon their mind.
They couldn’t even remember, and that was the worst part. It was just a haze of emotions, familiar yet so distant. Something that happened to them, but didn’t; something they couldn’t grasp, weren’t able to conceptualize. It happened, but it wasn’t there, but they felt it.

As a Big Shot, Spamton didn't have the time or the energy to introduce Tenna to his artistic endeavours. But now that they are in Castle Town, there's a chance to show a whole other side to the former salesman. It might help get Tenna out of his room for a little while.

Summary
Christmas is approaching in Castle Town, and Tenna struggles not to recall his old memories with his ex-partner Spamton. All the wonderful memories, songs, the love they shared, it all resurfaces on the countdown to Christmas. Tenna, trying his best to put his past behind him, finds an old tape that he and his partner used to watch together. And as the memories flood back, so does a love from the past.
[P.S] There's going to be a lot of musical and 'Hello Dolly!' references in here. Listen to the Hello Dolly! soundtrack while you read, it's fuckin' awesome :). (Besides the sexism um um.)
