Summary
He is called Druk.
It is something he learns, in the stretching of days, as he learns the basics in how to move, and eat, and ask for things.
And the pretty thing is Zuko, with golden eyes, and black silk hair, and comfy pockets for Druk to nap in. Zuko is strong, and beautiful, and perfect, and has odd patches of red-pink scales on his face and chest, and Druk thinks he must be part dragon.
His theory is confirmed when Zuko lays with him one day on the stone floor, and inhales deeply before blowing out a tiny gout of fire in front of them. It brightens for the briefest of moments before he stops, turning towards Druk with an expectant look. “Now you try.”
Or: Druk is determined to get his dad a boyfriend (companion piece to "how to survive your hot best friend")

Zuko’s jerk of an ex is at the party he’s been forced to attend, and so he grabs the closest person to kiss because he needs that fucker to know he’s moved on.
That person happens to be Sokka, who also happens to attend the same lecture as him for one of his electives; yeah, the same guy he finds kinda cute but would never admit that out loud.
(Other than that, he’s practically a stranger, but he’s about to become more than that by the end of the night.)
