Jahoda flushed hotly at Ineffa clearly overhearing her mumblings, snapping to attention. “Hey, I wasn’t… ugh…” I should shut my mouth before I say something I can’t take back to her, Jahoda quickly wizened.
“You weren’t what?” the taller girl responded, turning properly to face Jahoda.
“I wasn’t… well…” Jahoda fumbled with her words, unable to fully meet Ineffa’s bright eyes. “I wasn’t… being serious! I was just talking to myself, and happened to joke about our lovely professor’s accomplishments!” she continued with not a single convincing hint of sincerity.
“…I see,” Ineffa replied, her expression slightly less serene with a touch of confoundment.College/modern Inehoda :D
