well. it certainly knows how to get his attention. astarion wants to say 'yes, please' without hesitation, but those damned morals it's instilled in him make him pause. "dear, i... don't want to kill you. again. even with revivify scrolls pouring out our ears, i would rather not drink you to death?"
mischief dances in lux's smile. "who said anything about you killing me? astarion," it purrs, dark with promise, "do you know how many healing potions i have stored away? how many ingredients i've hoarded?"
his throat is suddenly dry when he swallows. "oh."

“Oh, you’re desperate for it,” Wilbur murmured. “Wonder if you can cum just from this.” His leg pressed even closer, and in a panic, Quackity leaned forward and bit down as hard as he could.
He was half-afraid that he'd tear out chunks of rotting flesh from Wilbur’s shoulder. Thankfully, it seemed that Wilbur was more alive than he looked, and all Quackity tasted was blood—fresh, human blood. It was almost pleasant, in a way. He hadn’t tasted anyone’s blood but his own in a long time.
When Quackity pulled back, he realized that Wilbur had released him.
He braced himself for some kind of punishment or retaliation, but none came. Instead, Wilbur let out a small, strangled noise and sucked in a breath through his teeth. “Fuck,” he said, “do that again.”

Quackity spends most of his time lying—pretending that he has everything together, that he's doing just fine, that he didn't cum last night to the thought of beating up Wilbur Soot. He'll do anything to maintain that charade.
Late at night, Wilbur shows up at Quackity's office and strips back every last one of his lies, until nothing but the ugly truth remains.

“They were trying to cut my head off,” says Scar, sounding somewhere between petulant and unbothered. He sucks a thick smear of blood off the little finger of his left hand, his right resting on the newly-prominent swell of his bloated belly.
“Tried to– So you ate them?” demands Grian, incredulously, a little nauseously.
(In which Scar's vex side is just a little... closer to the surface than in canon, and so Ren and Doc's attempt to acquire his head goes very differently. By which I mean- it goes very, very poorly for them; Scar has a great time and an even better meal; and Grian learns some things about himself he maybe wishes he hadn't.)
